You should always carry some Shark Repellent Bat-Spray

Is that a shark on your leg, mate?
A wobbegong shark bit a snorkeler and wouldn’t let go. What to do? What to do?
Why not swim to shore and then drive somewhere to get help?
With the shark still attached.
He didn’t even need stitches.
Obviously, a wobbegong shark is no great white, but still.

Weird. When I was diving in Australia, the dive masters all said, ‘don’t mess with the wobbegongs … they look docile, but they can do a lot of damage’. Guess they knew what they were talking about.

In a late breaking twist of fate………the snorkelar is being sued by the ‘Friends of the Wobbegone Shark’ animal liberation group. The group’s complaint, filed in the 18th Federal Circuit Court, states the shark has had to seek therapy due to the snorkelars calloused intrusion into the sharks ecosystem. Additionally, damages are being sought for dental reconstruction of the shark’s chipped tooth.
