This is exactly why I no longer watch college football

Unprecedented headache for BCS
USC, Oklahoma and Auburn create a new kind of mess
Instead of spending time writing more about this, I’ll simply copy and paste my post on the subject from last year:
BCS
Computer system puts squeeze on USCDoes anyone anywhere really think that the BCS system in college football works? Even though the odds of getting a #1 vs. #2 championship game are a lot better than before, there’s still as much, if not more, debate over match-ups every year. There is always going to be controversy, I understand, but this really is ridiculous.
When Division I-A football goes to a playoff system with the top 8, 12, or 16 teams, I’ll start watching again.
This also perfectly mirrored my thoughts from the year before, even though MO hadn’t been established yet. And the year before that. And the year before that. And so on.
