That thing looks like it’s about 18′ above the waterline. Yikes.
Passengers – which I have had the unfortunate experience of being – actually sit well below the water line. You get to breath straight diesel exhaust while being tossed around the ocean,wondering when the laws of physics will take over and the AAV will sink like the big hunk of metal it is. You thought the Marines bursting out of the back were hard-charging devil dogs. In reality they are just happy to be out of the fucker.
