McCain at VMI

Op-For has the goods.

Now, I’m not necessarily always the biggest McCain fan. (”On again/off-again” is usually how I describe my position on the guy…) But most of his recent messages on Iraq have been good ones.

I think he tried to oversell the security in Baghdad, though.

    I have my disagreements with McCain but he is completely right on the war. I love that he called out the wimps in Congress.

    McCain was spot on in this forceful speech, and any success with the surge will turn to his favor. Though I think it rightly belongs to Bush for staying the course despite tremendous pressure from all sides, plus the new tactics put in place by the Petraeus/McMaster team currently in the field.
