Here’s an interesting thing: a map of the United States with the names of the states replaced with the names of countries that have equivalent GNP’s. It seems that my home state of Ohio is, economically, a brother to Australia. Cool. Take a look. Thanks to Rocket Jones for the link.

Nevada = Ireland Makes sense. Both have more sheep than people. And lots of those sheep are very Nervous!

That’s pretty spiffy. I notice that MA is Belgium- fair enough- but CT is Greece. I think that reflects the tremendous net suck that Hartford County presents to the rest of the state. If you split it out you’d be in Belgium terrain.
