Just got this comment on an older post from a commenter who tends to rant a bit:
CONGRATS ON YOUR PURCHASE OF THE WALL STREET JOURNAL. NOW YOU CAN SLANT THAT LIKE YOU DID FOX NEWS. YOU HELPED HIM SELL US ON GOING TO WAR WITH IRAQ AND ALSO HELPED HIM STEAL THE 2000 ELECTION. NICE. WHAT A PATRIOT.
Suddenly I wonder if the commenter has all of his facts, particularly the names, right.
If the commenter knew anything, he’d know that I’m the bassist for the Gorillaz.

I get people telling me how bad Fox News is.. I point out to them that it isn’t any more biased than other news services.. it’s just biased in a different direction than their prejudices. Seriously, I can’t watch any news, the bias just drives me crazy. I realize there probably was never any ‘golden era’ of journalism but I still long for a return to the days when the news was reported, rather than created.
