Blocked field goal secures Appalachian State’s upset of Michigan

ESPN wonders if it might not be the biggest upset ever. I don’t know about that, but obviously Michigan’s entire season is basically over and this will stand as one of the most shameful games in the history of the, well, of the history.

I guess the U-M vs. Ohio State game won’t be such a big deal this year, huh?

I caught the very early part of the game and saw Michigan take a 7-0 lead. Appalachian State had evened the score when we headed out the door. Murdoc’s not a big U-M fan, but his wife is. Am I glad we didn’t stay home to watch.

If I want to watch my teams lose games they should win, I’ll just watch my beloved Washington Redskins.
