M777A2 Lightweight Howitzer in Iraq

U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kendric Pipken, from Sierra Battery, 5th Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, fires an Excalibur round from an M777A2 Lightweight .155-mm Howitzer on Camp Fallujah, Iraq, Nov. 4, 2007. The A2 version of the M777 incorporates software upgrades which allow it to fire the Excalibur precision round.

That is very nice! I guess it would be useful to put a bunch of them along the north korean border.
