Maybe we should secure the border

Islamic terrorists target Army base — in Arizona
Washington Times reports on a plot to attack Fort Huachuca, home of the US Army’s Intelligence Center and School:
Fort officials changed security measures after sources warned that possibly 60 Afghan and Iraqi terrorists were to be smuggled into the U.S. through underground tunnels with high-powered weapons to attack the Arizona Army base, according to multiple confidential law enforcement documents obtained by The Washington Times.
The DEA warned that the plot may not be what it appears but rather an attempt by one drug cartel to get the US military involved fighting a rival cartel. Either way, shouldn’t border security be taken seriously?

Maybe we should give the residence of that military base the same rights every other citizen in the US already has, ‘the right to keep and bear arms’.
Yeah right, what about their right to defend themselves with their own weapons you dim witted bureaucrat jerks? Hell, if you can’t trust the Army with guns, who can you trust?

We’ve been getting unclassified intel for 6 months or more stating that Iranian and Iraqi nationals have been crossing the border because they can blend in with Hispanics so well. Guess what’s been done!? Nada! Oh, my last day in the service in October, while working the gate at a Guard base, I arrested two illegals who’d been coming on since for over 8 months. I called ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and they were taken into custody. Guess what my Guard unit did? Nada! These guy were working, unsupervised, right next to the active parking ramp. They could’ve walked up to anyone of our 8 aircraft, $30 million a pop, and blown them up. Nice, huh? We’re going to have a lot of lives lost and a big smoking hole in the ground before anything gets done, even then it’ll be far too late.

Yeah, well we just let Abu Dabi buy an 11% stake in one of the largest banks in the US. Sure, watch the borders, but while you’re keeping an eye on the back door don’t forget they’re coming in the front door and windows too.
