Fidel Castro Steps Down

Ailing Castro steps down as Cuba’s leader

The MSNBC.com story sure heaps the praise on the “fiery guerrilla leader” for his “ironclad rule.”

And this is great:

Monarchs excepted, Castro was the world’s longest ruling head of state.

Because, you know, Castro isn’t a monarch.

Frank Warner: Obviously, he is near death.

Yea, I’ve already sent my resume in. I could dig being a dictator for a few months (get me outta Michigan anyway!). Think I’ll spend a couple weeks just #$&^%@ing with that idiot Chavez (socialist solidarity and all that), then go on a world tour or something. How does ‘Supreme Democratic Peoples Commissar’? Pretty snappy, Huh? Huh?
