It would be nice if we got some credit for this sort of thing once in a while. Murdoc’s not holding his breath.

  1. It’s even worse then not getting credit for this stuff. I was reading earlier this week that some Pakistani government people were blaming their own slow response on the US!

    They claimed that the US took over a key Pakistani airbase, and use it to launch drone strikes. And some of them even said that the US blew a levee to keep the base from flooding, which ended up flooding out thousands of people down stream. That’s a tough place to win the PR war.

    I can’t find the link to that discussion right now. I might have been reading that on my netbook.
