Iwo Jima and Sea Knight

U.S. Marines and Sailors aboard a medium-lift, dual rotor CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter depart USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) Nov. 6, 2010, to conduct a site survey of the destruction caused by Hurricane Tomas near Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The helicopter is assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 774 and attached to Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force Continuing Promise 2010. If tasked, Iwo Jima will conduct humanitarian relief operations in support of the government of Haiti, United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti and United States Agency for International Development.
