Is America Satanphobic?

Murdoc likes it.

The video, not Satan worship.

  1. Funny, and I get the point; though I disagree with the portrayal of the Not-Really-at-Ground-Zero-Non-Mosque.

  2. Expound on your “Not-Really-at-Ground-Zero-Non-Mosque” please Sam-hec.

Your previous statement has me confused.

    1. It’s over 2 blocks north of the Trade Center Plaza, thus not AT Ground Zero. It’s mostly a Community Center which happens to have a mosque in it. The guy in question is a Sufi not a hardline Wahabi (spelling); Sufi are the peaceful scholarly hippies of the islamic world, and not would be warlords…that doesn’t mean he isn’t evil, but one has to do better than using one’s own slander as evidence of such evil.

I am not happy with islam for a number of reasons, but this one aspect of the video was too over the top to be fair satire.

  3. That’s for clearing that up for me, Sam-hec.

I guess it’s a matter of how close you were to the twin towers on 9/11/2001 that makes the “Sufi” Community Center’s juxtaposition to the ground Zero sight so important.

    1. IIRC, this building is intended as a replacement for a smaller aging facility. So (IIRC) the Wahabi terrorists who did the deed in ’01 (and who themselves dislike Sufis) aren’t winning anything from this…except for laughs at our expense as we get worked up about it.
