Strike Eagle Down

US fighter jet crashes during Libya mission

Both crewmen ejected safely and have been recovered. It appears that it was a mechanical failure and not enemy fire that brought down their plane.

Murdoc hasn’t been able to follow this very closely, but he’s concerned that when the rebels needed air cover the most it wasn’t there, and now that it’s there the rebels don’t seem to have regained much in the way of momentum.

I am concerned that Congress, not the UN, should be the ones authorizing the use of our military. I am concerned that as a nation heavily in debt, we’ve just blown over $100 million in Tomahawks, lost a $50 million F-15, and will probably be in for over a billion, if were lucky, when all is said and done. All for a cause that has absolutely nothing to do with the security of our nation.

  2. I don’t believe we should be in there either. It’s shameful the way Mummy ****head is treating his people; on the other hand they’ve put up with his strong man schtick for how long? Not too mention if getting killed off by a thuggish leader is justification for our spending money we don’t have, and risking American lives to police up their ****, then why aren’t we involved in any of the other 110 places around the globe where that’s happening? Huh, huh?

Another twenty years of fighting and blasting and LIbya will have acquired all the decor of Afghanistan………..300 shades of dirt and wreckage everywhere.
