  1. They must still be attacking, because I saw one fly over here today. I’m pretty sure that was the first time I’ve ever seen one here in central PA.

It was flying close to a commercial path, and was pretty high up, heading West. It was much, much louder than the typical heavy commercial liners that fly that path, which is why I noticed it. No mistaking that outline, though.

Kind of pathetic that the Euoropeons apparently can’t strike Libya from across the Mediterranean, so we have to do it from fricken South Dakota!

  2. What a waste of resources using a B1 to bomb Libya now. Like using a Ferrari to pull a trailer. Can you do it? For sure (I think) but there are less expensive and more suitable options. Although I see this photo is from March 27th. Still, hope we are not using them now.

  3. What you guys said! Pretty bleepin’ amazing the other NATO states can’t muster enough TAC & CAS to suppress a half ass military power like Ghaddafi’s remnants and mercs. I’m sure NATO would need some air controllers on the ground with the rebels to ID Ghaddafi’s Goons…………..really shouldn’t cause a multi nation mature coalition to break a sweat………..you’d think.

  4. Most NATO members are products of the “Cold War” era when the USSR directly threatened them. Now they are free of the “Bear” they couldn’t care less about jumping into matters they perceive as “internal squabbles”.

NATO is a product of the Cold War era and should have been dissolved once that era ended.

      1. Yep, that’s it! It’s even more bizarre up close.

Looks like Mad Max meets The Wizard of Oz. I’ve never seen that one before.

        Thanks!

  5. Jaymaster,

Looks like a thing they shove a goat into (head first) before they have sex with it.

    1. There’s a guy who travels around here who de-horns and castrates calves. And his rig actually looks a lot like that, so you might be close!
