U.S. Soldiers Urged Not to Shoot Taliban at Night so Locals Can Sleep
Reports indicate U.S. soldiers and British Royal Marines have been urged to show “courageous constraint” by not shooting Taliban members spotted planting IEDs.
The reason? Shooting them might disturb the locals.
Murdoc would like to assume that this is being sensationalized way out of proportion, but what we’ve seen lately out of Afghanistan makes him wonder.

bring back the De Lisle carbine.
No problem — give them silenced weapons. XD
Hopefully the Taliban is respecting the same civilized restraint and not blowing up our soldiers and Marines between the hours of of 10:00pm and 8:00am.
Sounds like the war is being run by my home owners association.
Let the person who gave that order disarm the IED, simple.
