Yesterday I noted the strange streak where the Washington Redskins seem to predict the winner of the presidential election, and the fact that yesterday’s loss on a weird penalty indicates that Kerry will win tomorrow.

Today’s WaPo reports

Cornerback Shawn Springs asked reporters, “Does this mean [John] Kerry is going to win or does this mean we stink?” [emphasis mine]

I don’t really think it’s an either/or proposition, Shawn. Even if the streak remains intact (unlikely, according to an informal poll of MO writers) the ‘Skins still stink.
