We obviously know less about what goes on inside the CIA than we know about what’s going on in Fallujah and Guantanamo Bay. So all this excitement over clashes at the CIA has me a little confused.
I don’t know if Goss is the right man for the job or not. AND NEITHER DO YOU. Don’t forget that you don’t. (If you think you do, you’re confused. Check your meds.)
Clashes, infighting, and bitter resignations at Langley don’t mean the new guy is screwing up. Necessarily. In fact, if the new guy took over without creating waves I’d be concerned.
Keep in mind that if someone were to come in and clean up the agency, this is exactly what we’d we see. We’d see long-time agents quitting and saying bad things about the inability of the new guy to see things their way. We’d see the press jump all over the new guy for creating chaos within our intelligence system.
Forgive me if I’m not convinced Major Changes at the CIA aren’t in order. At least a little bit of “clashing” with “veterans” is called for.
We don’t know if these are good changes or bad changes. We’ll have to see. Just don’t get your panties in a bunch in the meantime. Just an observation.
