It seems that the increased spammer activity has exploded. Right now my host, Verve Hosting, has disabled all Movable Type comments until the spam attack stops.
I’m not sure that it will.
UPDATE: Well, they seem to be back up, now.

Well, that kinda sucks – I was hoping to leave a comment. I don’t use MT, and I don’t have your traffic, but I’m getting the odd spam attack every so often these days, too. The software I use has no facilities for spam protection, but it does allow me to mangle all the web page addresses they post, making them unreachable. Bastards.
Well, they seem to work now…
