Its called spin controll. To counter the presumption that the american troops are being slaughtered while the pentagon goes forth wasting money – they trot out the buffalo. Spin, counter spin, and instant popularity polls. What a way to run a country.
I’d call it recycling. There’s been a few stories that get recycled over and over by different news agencies. I can’t remember how many times I read about the Saudi in the fuel truck that got severe burns and shrapnel instead of a trip to the land of virgins when his suicide bomb was exploded prematurely by a remote.
