Hagel’s absolutely correct…Iraq IS just like Vietnam

I must admit…He is right..

Sulfruic Attitude:

So what looks the same???

To get the blast from the past, all you have to do is turn on the evening news and it looks and sounds just like it did then; Anti-American, Anti-War, all bad news from Iraq and none of the good, America the Bully, Terrorist just misunderstood. Sounds awful damned familiar doesn’t it?

Be warned. This guy’s attitude is, well, sulfuirc. (via Mr. Completely)

  1. Sulfuric? Mayhaps… But the Media is now the Monster! Cowards all, reporters and editors, afraid to take a stand FOR truth, justice, decency and America!

  2. But the Media is now the Monster! Cowards all, reporters and editors, afraid to take a stand FOR truth, justice, decency and America! At least their in Iraq reporting the news whlie you and your ilk are sitting at home in your underwear whinning on some blog. Show your patriotism and join the Army or go to Iraq and report the truth.

  3. At least their in Iraq reporting the news whlie you and your ilk are sitting at home in your underwear whinning on some blog. Show your patriotism and join the Army or go to Iraq and report the truth.’ 1) don’t you mean ‘they’re’, not ‘their’ 2) no, they’re not in Iraq reporting the news, they’re sitting somewhere at home writing articles based off dispatches they get from Reuters 3) I’m kind of old, not terribly fit and I have a decent job. While I’d love to help out the guys in Iraq I think there are better people for it than me, and they seem to be ready and willing to do it anyway. Therefore, I think it’s better if I suppose them than try to join them? 4) There are some independent reporters in Iraq like Michael Yon and the late Steve Vincent who are doing great reporting. I’d love to but I’m not a reporter, and while I think I could probably do it, I’d rather leave it to those for whom it is a calling. In short, why do I have to join the armed forces to support our troops? There were millions of people during WW2 who supported the home front by working in factories or even just by keeping the economy at home going. Nobody criticised them for supporting the allies – at least not that we hear about these days.

  4. Remember how everyone was so angry and upset about it when Americans who had never ever been firefighters supported the idea that burning buildings should be extinguished and trapped people should be rescued from certain death? Me neither.
