The story at MSNBC? About violent incidents.
That’s certainly newsworthy, but I’d think the simple fact that, despite the “harsh Afghan winter” we had to brave, four times now, they’re VOTING AGAIN IN AFGHANISTAN.
But it’s all about body counts. As long as they’re not enemy bodies.
Despite this unbiased, balanced, even-handed, and patriotic news coverage, it seems that “staying the course” isn’t always the wrong thing to do. Who woulda thunk it?
