Remember when Charlie Rangel was on his soap box about re-instituting the draft? The House took him at his word and brought it up for a vote. Rangel voted aginst his own stated position, as did Murtha on Friday. BTW, does anyone else have trouble remembering Murtha’s name? I keep thinking Merkel. Wasn’t he a silly character on a kids TV show years ago? Hmm, wonder if it’s the same guy?
