Reagan in the Gulf

Persian Gulf (Feb. 25, 2006) — The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) transit the Persian Gulf, as her crew support U.S. and coalition forces on the ground in Iraq. Reagan is currently deployed on her maiden deployment conducting Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the region and participating in the global war on terrorism.     I find it Ironic justice that the Reagan will very likley be a lead striker in the assualt on Iran when/if it comes.

    Yea C-Low, Considering the circumstances of 1979 you would think it could have been named the USS ‘Carter’ so the pastel-pink planes could drop flowers of Peace on the Soverign Republic of Iran

    Toejam, I don’t know about you, but my curiosity is up. Would a pink Cessna 150 actally need a hook?
