The 506th is the regiment (brigade) made famous by Stephen Ambrose’s “Band of Brothers”. The brigade was recently reactivated when the 101st underwent its modular transformation.


  1. The Army really loves the scopes on their machine guns. Too bad no scopes make their way to National Guard Units so we could train with them before deploying.
