Matthew Webber funeral

Soldier brought ‘sunshine’

Severely burned in a November IED blast, Matthew Webber died on April 27th:

In just 23 years, Matthew Webber managed to touch more than a few people.

Looking around the Morley Stanwood High School gym at more than 1,000 mourners, his stepbrother paid tribute to a man who brought a community together in life and death.

“Matt, look around you, buddy. You did it, my man,” said Brandon Klein, 33, speaking in a gym draped with American flags and signs that read, “Miracle Matt” and “American Hero.”

Like Friday’s funeral for Rick Herrema, the service for Webber was attended by the Westboro Baptist Church crew.
