After a car bomb

Not a lot of time again today, but here’s a pic of Stryker Brigade soldiers on the scene of a car bomb in Mosul:

U.S. Army Soldiers arrive on scene and secure the area after a car bomb detonated in the Nabi Sheet district of Mosul, Iraq, May 31, 2006. The Soldiers are from Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Jeremy T. Lock) (Released)

  1. Good photo but it could use a bit of fill flash or postprocessing to lighten up the people in the foreground. That is, unless the photographer liked that effect. I actually don’t mind my photos being contrasty like that, but usually not when the subjects are so far to the dark end of the scale.
