The 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division recently arrived in Mosul, Iraq for their second tour. Soldiers are out on a daily patrol getting a feel for the neighborhoods that they will become a familiar face in helping to stabilize an area that has become a lot safer over the past year. Woot! 5-20 Infantry, Sykes’ Regulars. To the Limit! (Toujour pret, or some French sh*t, actually). I was the S-1 and BMO in that unit from 2001-2003. Sad to say that’s Lt. Watada’s unit, as well.
