How many times does socialism have to fail before people will realize it’s a stupid idea? I think the answer is ‘they will never realize because they don’t have the mental faculties’, unfortunately.
Was Jimmy Carter there to rubber stamp the whole sordid affair? Surely there must have been some Democrats there looking to get some reduced gas prices for their state from Citgo, and maybe a campaign contribution or two?
