  1. As I understand it, they substituted the cheaper hydrogen for halon in the on-board fire extinguishers. Big mistake, but explains why the airplane exploded like the Hindenburg. I guess they never thought they’d get caught. China has taken the official position that 99% of all their fire extinguishers actuall extinguish fires, not promote their explosive growth. In further news they’ve halted shipments of breath mints from the US saying the mints were defective because no matter how many they gave to their North Korean buddy Kim Jong Il, his breath still smelled like the sweet wind blowing over a cess pool.
