No Bibles will be allowed into Beijing’s Olympic Village during next year’s Olympic Games, according to a story that seems to be have been first broken here by the Catholic News Service after first appearing in an Italian report last week.
A quick Google shows that no (zip, zero, nada) major news outlets have picked this up.
A few links to non-major outlets at Pajamas Media.
If this is true, if, then I think it’s pretty newsworthy. We’ll see.

I don’t know how I would feel about this… not sure if is even that relevant… I doubt they would be that against it since they do have churches there now (I think).

Christians have been duped into believing the only way to be a ‘good Christian’ is to be a pussy. Too bad more don’t read the Bible. Especially the Old Testament – my own personal favorite part. Lot’s of ass whoopings there. I read an interesting article regarding the communist’s infiltration into our government and how that effected our policy with China back when it counted. Hard to believe we didn’t listen to Chenault regarding Chang Kai Shek.

I don’t think this will stand. Notice no such restrictions on the Koran for example. I’ll predict that this will be blamed on some ‘low level’ offical shooting his mouth off. This is just a trial run to see how it plays.

I wonder if they’d let me bring my Buddhist prayer wheel and my Shinto prayer gong?
