The good folks in Hiroshima and Nagasaki during 1945 may want to debate that fact.
For the record, the first atomic bomb was set off in New Mexico on July 16th, 1945. The first hydrogen bomb was detonated on this day in 1952, as TwistedHistory correctly points out a little further down.
Although they may get some dates wrong, and some of their items on alien sightings and serial killers are apocryphal, I’m sure they get all the Bushisms right.
