People had this problem in Northern Ireland.  It simply requires a look over the car.  Are the EOD teams at disposal for this sort of task?  Or are they pretty much snowed under already?

It would be a great way to improve relations with the troops.</description>

		<description>Yeah ... but the defense is fairly simple.  Don&#039;t park your car in an unsecured area, if you do park post a guard, and look the vehicle over before you move it.  Note that they&#039;re using these against Iraqi official vehicles and the personal vehicles of Iraqi civilians.

There&#039;s a reason they give mirrors on sticks to guards at checkpoints.  These things are pretty easy to spot if you look under the vehicle.</description>
