Reminds me of the Japanese Type 89 and how people said American soldiers and marines mistakenly thought the mortar/grenade launcher can be fired from the knee/leg. XD
I’ve seen several Type 89’s at the D-Day museum in New Orleans. There’s even a handy little note at the exhibit describing what happens to the firer when firing off a leg.

Well, the Type 89 obviously COULD be fired from the knee. Twice. Once on the left, and once on the right for those really stubborn folks… :)
