Why are you mixing races and religions? The race of an individual is completely unimportant. The religion of a person, as terrorism shows us daily, has much more meaning.

You’re probably right that I couldn’t tell an arab from an indian though. Or an irishman from a russian. Mostly because I don’t care about that kind of stuff. I wish you didn’t either.

Hmm, bigot = a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.

While I’m not utterly intolerant of other people’s views in general, I AM utterly intolerant of a religion that worships a thing which says it’s a good idea to kill non-believers. And if you really don’t think that the koran’s ‘allah’ is the devil, then I suspect you have not read the koran. He spends much of his time telling mohammed to tell his followers to kill people, cut off their body parts, or subjugate them. That’s got devil written all over it.

But call me a bigot if it makes you feel better.

ps. I don’t hate Bush. I have just come to believe that he’s an idiot who has seriously undermined our men in the field much the way Bob McNamara did with his incompetence. I am unaware of the ‘million better reasons’ to hate him. If you have the time, I’d like to hear a few hundred of them, unless they’re some kind of hippie crap like ‘reasons 1-990: 990 whales killed during his watch’. If that’s the case, keep them to yourself and I for one will be grateful!

Religion can be easily manipulated and altered into tools of hate and fear, you can generally say that the nation of islam is peaceful and non violent, but someone is out there turning its fundamentalism into propaganda to destroy western society, so how the hell is the religion as a whole evil or not evil? think about that before start posting stuff on the internet with millions of people that dont have lives that are pissed off easily. and really, you should pick 1 of the million better fucking reasons to hate george bush, because you seem to forget that he also said that the war on terrorism was the war between our god and their allah, that statement is the shit that makes the founding fathers cringe in heaven and rollover in their graves

Your message should not be said to me, but to Bush. I’m not entirely sure why you say ‘religion’ instead of ‘islam’ (I suspect KTLA is being pc), but I do understand. islam is a murderous and torturous religion. The fact that Bush tried to hide that tidbit of info from me is the main reason

No, the ONLY reason I despise the man. Sure, he opened our borders and allowed anyone to come to our country that wanted to. That can be explained away as a way to get votes, or a way to save money (by not protecting our borders).

And true, he gave away a few trillion of our dollars by creating a prescription drug plan, but that can be explained away by admitting that it was just a way to get old person’s votes or… no that’s the only way THAT one can be explained away.

But when he lied that islam is a religion of peace… There can be no excuse. I’m not sure what his goal was, but as long as I live I will make it known that Bush called the most murderous religion ever to exist on this planet (and I’m including the Aztecs) a ‘religion of peace’.

He should be ashamed.

I know it’s not popular these days to make the whole good v. evil call. We’re all supposed to understand each others’s perspectives and all, and know that what’s evil to me is perfectly moral from another angle. I’m just saying that evidence to the contrary keeps presenting itself.

Kevin, since you asked, yes, I believe Bush did say that. Though, given the nature of religion in society, I’m surprised you find it hard to believe any of the major religions aren’t capable of leading to torture or worse. We humans have a history of this sort of thing, if you read back a bit.
