Finished the book a few weeks ago. It’s an interesting saga of the authors revisit back to LZ-X-Ray and Albany 30-years after the battle and meeting the North Vietnamese commanders. Mr Moore also writes about his ideas of effective leadership and of a few individuals who were part of the battles and went on years later to be heroes in other tragic events. Rick Rescorla a Lieutenant during the Battle at LZ-X-Ray latter became the Head of security for Morgan Stanley at the World Trade center and died on 9/11 while successfully evacuating the Morgan Stanley employees.

The book is a great follow-up to We were Soldiers once…and Young. It’s an easy read and I found I couldn’t put it down till i had read the whole thing.
