I listedned to RL very regularly in the early 90s, but that tapered off by 95-96. I've listened to him several times recently and I can't stand his pompous, arrogant self inflated BS. Not that quite a bit of what he says isn't true, it's just the self aggrandizing delivery I can't stand. I have a hard time taking conservatisim and Republicans seriously anymore after the last eight years, and the recent caving in on principles (they really didn't have anymore anyway) during the rush to nationalise pretyy much everything in the US. What baffles me more than anything on the economic meltdown, is if all those dweebs in office wanted to rescue the economy they could have spent just 300 billion in giving every American a billion is cash. Economy fixed! Duh! Of course........we all would have quit our jobs and become French (not working LOL!). More on topic. jaymaster is right. We all need to be worried with this current crew of lefties. When the dictatership goosesteps into our lives, it'll be in Nike cross trainers, with smiley face t shirts, and because way too many of us gave them the power to control our lives to the nth degree.
