High speed digital camera and computer tracking system. Pretty much the same technology you need to aim a laser at an incoming missile.
Damn! What was up with the glow on the back end of it, residual propellant or something? I know there isn’t any motor or anything.
I believe that it is tracer-type stuff for testing.
Could it be a base-bleed device for longer range?
