Sheesh! And Kongress talks about fiscal responsibility! All talk, no walk
It’s also work keeping the line running since (a) the USAF doesn’t have anywhere near the number of F-22s they will need considering the rate at which air frames are aging, (b) the F-35 is late and over budget and (c) for their capabilities and given that the R&D costs have already been paid off additional F-22s really are a bargain.
worth, not work.
I think this is the right thing to do overall.
