Important News Item

This was the lead item on my Yahoo! home page today: Why Michelle Obama’s Hair Matters

Murdoc’s initial reactions was “It doesn’t matter.”

After reading about why it does, Murdoc has revised his reaction to “It REALLY doesn’t matter.”

Without getting too deep into it, Jenee Desmond-Harris of Time thinks it matters because hair is so important to black women. And therefore it matters enough to warrant press coverage.

You know, if Murdoc wrote something like that on his little site, he’d be instantly labeled a clueless white guy with dumb stereotypes and probably a racist. But in the pages of Time it’s deep insight.

If Michelle Obama’s hair style really matters, it’s over for America. Luckily for us all, it doesn’t matter.

Comments

  1. I agree, her hair doesn’t matter. What REALLY matters is her fingernails. When is someone going to do a ten page expose on them? Enquiring minds want to know.

  2. As for M.O., it’s not the hair OR the nails (except as a self-defence weapon) that matters.
What matters is her SocLib MIND, and how it’s used to influence her hubby, ol’ Prez-boy hisself.

  3. a RANT

While living and/or being stationed in the south during the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, I put my physical well being as well as my life on the line FOR Black civil rights. So if someone calls me a “Racist” they are total Retards.

Racists include those who vote AGAINST or FOR someone
ONLY due that persons race. Thus, more than a few of those who voted for ODUMA, ARE RACISTS!

I really get so sick and tired of IDIOTS calling the actions of others Racists when whatever they did had, or has, NOTHING to do with a persons race. In ODUMAS case, (As most already know) very few of those who
against him due so because he Black. (And a certainly a racist himself.) Rather we oppose him for mofe than a few reasons.

Some are his lack of honest and integrity, his very poor judgement skills and his world view.

  4. From what I understand, she was at the top of her class all the way from high school to Princeton, to Harvard.

And she accomplished more in the private sector than Obama ever did.

And now, it’s all about her hair, and her arms, and her shorts.

I can’t see how that’s good for anybody.

  5. “And now, it’s all about her hair, and her arms, and her shorts.”

You forgot to include her fat ass, jaymaster

  6. seriously this is “news”?

    quote from the article:
“Girl, ain’t no braids, twists, afros, etc. getting into the White House just yet … LOL.”

  7. For the record, I don’t think her ass is THAT fat….But I do get sick of those people who constantly yap about how beautiful she is. I just don’t see that at all.

    That and her garden…

And back on my original point, all we’ve heard from the lefty folks over the last 40 or so is that looks shouldn’t matter, and we should be judging women on their intelligence and accomplishments. Funny how that seems to have gone away.
