Empire State Building lit for China, drawing ire

Are you kidding?

Red and yellow lights shone from the top of the Empire State Building at dusk Wednesday, a tribute to communist China’s 60th anniversary that protesters labeled “blatant approval” of totalitarianism and criticized as inappropriate for an icon in the land of the free.

  1. What’s more revolting, lighting up the Empire State Building in Chicom colors , or following policies over the last 20 years that allowed the PRC to become our largest creditor?

  2. I wondered why I saw a jellybean car cruising through MSU’s campus today with a Chicom flag being waved out the window.

  3. Looks like things are turning around economically.

I saw a baseball hat in a local Target store today that caught my eye.

It was bright red and had P.R.C. in big yellow letters on the front.

When I looked closely I noticed the linen tag inside said: Made in the U.S.A.

  4. Don”t feel too bad Chase………..many of us suffer through annoying moments when we inconveniently don’t have the rocket launcher/s the situation desperately calls for. LOL! Very frustrating!
