i really doubt that the rifles used by the two egyptian guys are rubber
they are Using the Maadi
of course u guys in america are quite familiar with the export hunting version, and those older models of it before the restriction on magazine capacity
the one used by the pakistani sure looks funny
but u can actually see the chrome bore on the rifle used by the second egyptian guy
Maadis are known to use chrome in their gun tubes to lengthen barrel life, and add some protection against rusting.
and sure both rifles look perfectly REAL
BTW, all of them have their fingers on triggers, but for the pakistani; a.k.a. the one with a rubber rifle ;)
regarding the lack of field gear; i am not sure exactly why, but can assure u that even the standard conscript infantry soldiers do have them
judging from their uniforms they are most probably paratroopers, and u can see that the first one has two stars, and the second one has three, so they are officers too.

Actually, you guys have all missed the glaring thing in this picture! it’s a hell of a lot more simple. You know who stands out the most???

The Yank! He has a REAL RIFLE!!!!

If you look closely at the other ones, they are using rubber rifles (basically the M4 is a rubber rifle with a steel barrel – same thing with the 2 Egyptians…I’m in the Canadian infantry and we use those rubber rifles for mockups sometimes…surprisingly they’re heavier than the real thing!) I wouldn’t expect most people to get that….

Note the complete lack of field gear on the non-US troops. Forget the fancy holo-sights and laser pointers: where do they keep water and extra ammo??

Also, notice the effectiveness of the ACU’s in this particular environment.

Oh, and just for grins and giggles, tail-end-charlie has his finger on the trigger.

A fmr Marine told me about a Bright Star he was on once. The Egyptians were very hungry, and eager to eat what the Marines shared from their MREs.
