At one point it had been thought that Iraq was outfitting its L-29s as chemical warfare drones. Glad that never turned out to be the case.

  1. I have a photo of this L-29 from the invasion where it is at the entrance of the airbase. Also photos when it was in the “back forty” near the gun range. It was in pieces, I believe it was removed to allow large vehicles to pass by?
