I don’t think I knew that the Pueblo was a museum ship in the DPRK.
I had no idea the Pueblo started out life as an Army ship.
Recently read an aritcle on the Pueblo Incident in one of the history mags I’m always buying.
Poor old Commander Buecher sure took a scape goat beating from the Government over it. Bleep wasn’t right! After the half assed way the Navy/Agency sent them on assignment with virtually no heads up to the nearby Navy Fleet/Flotilla Commander on the Pueblo’s mission, or directing the Fleet Commander to develop and implement effective support/emergency response procedures to assist the Pueblo in the event of a NorK provocation/attack.
