Happy Birthday Aussies:

Chief of Army Lieutenant General Ken Gillespie addresses Army Personnel gathered around the Pool of Reflection at the Australian War Memorial for Army’s 109th Birthday. The Army Banner is in the foreground and was paraded by members of Australia's Federation Guard.
Here’s an informative site regarding Australia’s role in Vietnam:

Wow, that is a great site.
In the mid-80s I picked up a Vietnam wargame (by Victory Games, I think) and there were a few Australian unit counters in it. I was all “Wait. Australia was in Vietnam?”
I don’t think most Americans have the appreciation for them that they deserve.
Speaking of Australians in Vietnam, I saw a good movie about this topic in the 1980s called The Odd Angry Shot.
