USS Boxer in San Diego

Water reaches the keel of the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer during the submerging of the National Steel and Shipbuilding Company floating dry dock. This is the first step in getting Boxer back to its home pier at Naval Station San Diego after more than four months in dry dock during a dry dock planned maintenance availability to complete essential repairs and install upgrades throughout the ship.   2. i remember serving on this hell hole! bout time they put the bitch in dry dock! i always prayed we would go into dry docks during my tour but never happend
