Murdoc’s apologies for the lack of posting. It’s been a bit of a wild couple of weeks, culminating with the Boston Marathon yesterday. Running that race is a lifelong dream accomplished, and Murdoc wants to encourage everyone to keep your own dreams alive, even when it looks like they’ll never come to pass. I never thought I’d get to Boston and had pretty much given up on running altogether for nearly a decade. But here I am.

Anyway, I’m on vacation for the rest of the week so posting will continue to be a bit light. But I’ll be getting back into it and hopefully will be back to full steam next week.

    1. Under 3:30.

Ran a little bit slower than I had hoped for, but I ran smart, did not hit the wall (much), and finished strong.

My feeling is that Boston is definitely a course that you would benefit from having run before. Much more so than any of the other marathon courses I’ve run. That’s no surprise, really, as everyone knows it’s a challenging course.

But having run it now, Murdoc says its you vs. the course. And no matter what you do, the course probably exacts its price.

  1. Congrats on getting out there (personally I have no idea why you would)I’m glad you enjoyed it.
