An EA-6B Prowler from the Cougars of Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 139 catches an arresting gear cable while landing aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The EA-6B Prowler is designed for carrier and advanced base operations, providing an umbrella of protection for strike aircraft, ground troops and ships by jamming communications. Ronald Reagan is currently underway participating in Rim of the Pacific 2010, the world's largest multi-national maritime exercise. RIMPAC is a biennial event allowing participating nations to work together and improve interoperability.
